I have some fun news- I'll be on Rachel Maddow's show tonight at 9 PM EST (leading off at the top of the hour) talking about my post here at OpenLeft regarding Joe Wilson, John C. Calhoun conservatism and the modern Republican party.

And David Sirota is going on at 9:15. It's OpenLeft-tastic today at MSNBC.

I'm looking forward to it. Keep pushing our points to the nation on the critical issue of health care, and the truly lost Rep party.

Since the public option is such a "sliver" of the overall health care bill, it should be no problem for the Dems with big majorities in both Houses to include it in the final bill, particularly since the President wants it also!
