Joe who? (0.00 / 0)
So many names, so little knowledge...
Damn.

Well, at least the Saints kept it close in (4.00 / 3)
the first half.

The advertisers have really upped the ante this year on the woman-hating ads. Yes, even more so than in previous years. Very much more so. Ads focusing on how women steal men's spines (remedied with a palm TV so you can watch the game while your woman drags you out shopping), how awful and soul-crushing it is for a man to be in a relationship with a woman (remedied by a penis-enlarging sports car).

In years past, the woman-hating has at least attempted to be more subtle. This year, they ain't even trying. Ha, ha, ha. Bashing women is soooo funny.

Who are those retirees making music? (0.00 / 0)
The tune sounds familiar, but I can't totally remember it...

Hmmm. The light show... (4.00 / 1)
...reminds me of ELO! That's the saucer from the album cover, right?

Gray - are they showing the game live in Germany? n/t (0.00 / 0)

Yup, sure. Even on our public TV channel. (4.00 / 1)
At least one upside of globalisation!
And then, allegedly there are also German football fans nowadays. I heard rumours about a gang called Frnkfurt Galaxy...

This emphasize on the appearance of the players... (0.00 / 0)

Touchdown!!!! (0.00 / 0)
Oh, when the Saints...

Damn. (0.00 / 0)
Couldn't they stop this Colt? With a Smith and Wesson, maybe?

It pleases me that 'who dat' won this.Yes it does. (4.00 / 2)

Me too. Even though the Colts (4.00 / 1)
are a very likable team, had to cheer for the Saints here.

It's just sad that so many native New Orleanians (sp?) have not been given the Right of Return post-Katrina to enjoy it in their home town. And it's sad that no one talks about it.

Controversial touchdown bobbling call (0.00 / 0)
What do folks think of it? "A" for effort, regardless.

"Green police" ad (4.00 / 1)
Did anyone else find it actually rather detrimental? It's nice that it was for a "green" car, but the entire tone was anti-regulation in its nature and fairly mocking of relatively simple things people can to do combat pollution, climate change.

Yes. It was hard to enjoy the funny aspect (0.00 / 0)
of the commercial when the baseline message was what an oppressive Police State the "Greens" are turning us into. It was very 90's in its anti-PC quality.

I'm conflicted (0.00 / 0)
On the one hand, I wanted the Colts to rock New Orleans like a hurricane in order to validate Jim Caldwell taking the smart long-term approach of resting his starters against the Jets and being willing to do what's right despite public opinion to the contrary.  On the other hand, I endorse the sort of aggressive, smart risk taking that the Saints took (and which Nate Silver blogged about) by going for it on fourth down near the first half and doing an onside kick to start the second half.
