- Because they won't do the sensible thing and let all of us buy into Medicare, Democrats are looking to pay for their crappy, corporate insurance bill by raising the excise taxes on middle class plans. Let me get this straight (4.00 / 2)
Denying that there was an Armenian genocide (which of course there was) and upset that anyone would say otherwise, Turkey's response is to threaten to ethnically cleanse itself of yet another 100,000 Armenians. That's like shooting someone who accused you of murder, claiming that it's a vicious lie.

This would be funny if it wasn't so creepy and tragic.

Trumka the doormat (0.00 / 0)
The reconciliation bill is set to be released today with the Cadillac tax indexed to CPI not CPI+1. Meanwhile Trumka who met with Obama yesterday has called a meeting of his leadership team to discuss--what's to discuss? The WH said his acquiescence was expected. This change in indexing is not insignificant. It's likely to mean several hundred billion dollars in the second decade. But hey the middle class can afford it.

Interesting Concept (4.00 / 2)
- Turkey has threatened to expel 100,000 Armenians in response to foreign governments' condemnation of the Ottoman genocide against Armenians.

Call us on genocide, and we'll respond with ethnic cleansing.

Somehow, I don't think that's the way to win friends and influence people.

But, then, I'm not a Republican.

Or a Texas Textbook Commissioner. (Jeff Davis good.  Abe Lincoln bad.)
