Obama Wins Wyoming

And Obama wins Wyoming by a 59-40 margin, in the caucuses.

Incidentally, is everyone on the Clinton campaign a resentful white male who time-traveled from 1984 just so they could get another whack at Gary Hart?

... I'm mocking this quote.

One Clinton aide yesterday derided Mr Obama's victories in "boutique" caucus states rather than the hardscrabble terrain of the rustbelt, saying: "Obama has won the small caucus states with the latte-sipping crowd. They don't need a president, they need a feeling."

Sorry Matt (0.00 / 0)
but I must admit ignorance as pertaining to your joke about the Clinton campaign. At the risk of sounding like a total moron, could you please explain?

...................HILLarious!

One wonders if the Oborg have a sense of humor to match this.

Somehow.....

I think not.

Seriously. At Jackson Hole.

I'd be very surprised (4.00 / 1)
If you typical 'Clinton aide' didn't have a latte every now and then. Long live the vanguard party!

Am I the only one who remembers the 2004 use of this? Not the first time it's been used by the Clinton campaign, of course, in 2008.

IOWANS have just discovered your role in the vast left-wing conspiracy. They even know about your passions for eating sushi and sticking pins through your flesh. The Club for Growth, a conservative group, has put you in a $100,000 advertising campaign in Iowa. The group's attack advertisement, which made its debut on Des Moines television on Wednesday, shows a husband and wife talking about Howard Dean's proposal to repeal the Bush tax cuts.

"Howard Dean," the husband says, "should take his tax-hiking, government-expanding, latte-drinking, sushi-eating, Volvo-driving, New-York-Times-reading" - at which point the wife interrupts to finish the sentence - "body-piercing, Hollywood-loving, left-wing freak show back to Vermont, where it belongs."

A lot of us do, I am sure. I don't understand how a supposedly "liberal" campaign can wage this kind of bizarre war against "freaks" like me.

and let me add... (0.00 / 0)
That the Clintons have improved on the quote from the Club for Growth. Naturally dropping the "New York Times-reading" epithet -- given that paper's endorsement -- they did see that "latte-sipping" is better than "latte-drinking".

Because you know who takes small, delicate sips, right, instead of manly drink-worthy gulps?

THE GAYS. GAY PEOPLE SIP.

NOT! (0.00 / 0)
NOT many gays are sipping for OBAMA!

Some don't even drink coffee...gasp!

Hillary Hates Dems (4.00 / 2)
Is there seriously any doubt now that Hillary will say anything and do anything to get the nomination? She's parroting GOP talking points all over the place, and now she's consistently belittled those who didn't vote for her (which, sadly for her, is the majority).

Fuck the Clintons. I'm done.

"dems" (4.00 / 1)
Hum, Hillary has not given up, still has strong support and won Ohio even though she was WAY outspent by Obama...who was coming off of 11 str8 wins. Someone supports her...looks like its mostly dems...odd.

Crazy idea that one would actually want a nominee that would actually want to win. A nom that would do everything to be successful and get the white house...

Lets remember> Al Gore and Donna! Hum, lets see, well they were afraid of Clinton even though he had a huge approval ratings, when they had the chance to have ALL the votes counted in Florida they said NO just the ones in south Florida, and then just gave up!

How about Kerry, oh yeah thats a great one. He conceded before all the votes were even counted in Ohio...no irregularities there!

Give up, Give in and lose dems. So great!

Obama, doesn't want the Michigan and Florida votes to count.  I predict he would be yet another dem to give up and give in to loss.

Hillary would never give in or up. I guess for a dem that is used to losing that would be a bad thing.

If you do not like GOP talking points perhaps you should look harder at Obama and perhaps get more familiar with his voting record. Not as progressive as he portends to be.

Just saying.

The "Dream Team" (0.00 / 0)
I wrote about about the Clintons now frequent hinting about the "dream team" ticket.  My blog is at: http://swimmingfreestyle.typep...
An excerpt:
If cynicism, political calculation, and manipulation were Olympic events, we'd be talking gold medals for the Clintons.

How the hell can Bill and Hillary Clinton relentlessly hammer Barack Obama as nothing more than a shell, an empty vessel that lacks the substance and experience to be the president and, in the next breath and with a straight face, suggest that Obama would make a great vice presidential choice if she's the Democratic party nominee for president?

They really do think we're stupid.

Hillary Endorses McCain to run in 2012 (0.00 / 0)
BTW- The final tally was 61-38 Obama, a 23 pt. victory.

Randi Rhodes today called out HRC on her endorsements of McCain. Here's the explanation for Hillary's endorsement of John McCain and attempt to undermine Barack Obama. She knows the delegate math now won't allow her to win in 2008, so she's running for 2012. Explains a lot.
