Great! But its somewhat like a pyrrhic victory (4.00 / 1)
How long did it take to achieve that victory? How much money, time and efforts did Project Vote and ACORN put into this fight? How many voters were disenfrachised from executing their constitutional rights until this was overturned?

Looks like this is an uphill battle. As long as their isn't much more federal support for fighting all those attempts at keeping people from voting, every federal election in the US, not to speak of the countless local ones, will be tainted by the fact that lots of potential voters were kept away from the ballots. Where is the new Voting Rights Act that would really stop all those practises, by implementing easily enforceable rules that put an end to these thinly veiled attempts at sabotaging democracy?

Let it be said by our children's children that when we were tested, we refused to let this journey end, that we did not turn back, nor did we falter
