If 'being a compelling figure' were horses, then Obama would ride. (0.00 / 0)

If 'aura' could be figured in to regression analyses and electoral predictions, Obama would have even more of a lead than he is given credit for. Not exactly a precise and quantifiable rubric, I know, but not irrelevant either, I think. The man just seems like a plausible president, in a way that Kerry and Gore (at the time) never did.

Of course, both of them struck me as a lot more plausible presidential figures than Bush did, even after he had been pres for four years. So this observation may be worthless.
