Bayh & Lugar (0.00 / 0)

Bayh is now in the yeah column, but unfortunately, Lugars Ft Wayne office is in the middle of moving so I couldn't speak directly to my friend there- had to call the DC office and the official Lugar line is, "He has not made his decision known yet".

Yeah well, don't count on Bayh (0.00 / 0)

I called both again today for follow up.

Not good, I got the R reply today from Bayh's office- "He hasn't let us know how he's going to vote on it yet". When I pressed on the fact that he said that he was going to vote for it, the guy hemmed. I asked him to find out, and he asked for my name and he would let me know. Not good.

Finally got thru to my friend at the Ft Wayne office for Lugar, but I don't think he can get me an answer until it won't make a difference. But I did get my point across.

I gotta say, the standard BS "citizen co-sponsor" trick is a blatant list build and I'm glad Dodd's camp has evolved past that into actual online activism.

This might ruffle the feathers of fellow Senators and as an activist, "I welcome their hatred."
