so if the Senate wants to condemn the troops fighting in Iraq then go for it.  A simple google search of the term will show the term dating back to 2003 or earlier from posts by service members.

I thought giving Democrats control of the Congress would put an end to Republican political stunts like this.  Why can't someone put an annoynmous hold on this one?

I don't think the people at MoveOn will care that much about it, but the whole thing is this lame attempt by Republicans to make the story about "those hippies" and not about how Senate GOPers are blocking widely popular measures repeatedly.  It is not just the war, but ethics reform, Rx drug pricing negotiation, CHIP, etc.

Any Democrat who gets up to talk, even if they vote against MoveOn, needs to mention this point.

MoveOn, last i noticed, had 100 times the membership roles and one percent of the influence of The Club For Growth (under 30,000 the last I checked a few months ago).  Introduce a resolution condemning them.  Double it and introduce a resolution condemning Ann Coulter.  She wants people dead.  Tripler it and make sure Petraeus is dead in the water.  Go after the little chickenshit with both guns blazing.  He's a political creature owned by George W. Bush and the son of a gun isn't getting results.  At least not good results.

If it makes anybody feel better the lamer than lame Susan Collins is portrayed in the Washington Post as going around the Senate offices saying lots of bad things about how Olympia Snowe left her high and dry by supporting the restoration of habeus corpus while Collins went with Bush.  Oh yeah, Collins, in a t least some of the pictures has bad hair to go with her bad temper and bad judgement.  And she likes clunky jewelry, too.  Go Tom Allen!

p.s.  There was also the part where he called the scam artists who made the "clothes", Guido and Luigi Farabutto, "Bare-a-butt-o."  He was condemned for that, too.

Polling shows Americans think 'Betrayus' is a liar.

The ad was the simple truth, the troops know this, and the truth is something the ReichWing always hates. That's why the tremendous pushback by them.

If you don't agree with MoveOn then stop sending them money.

For my money they should run ads like this every week pointing out that:

Bush and Cheney are a liars.

Bush is incompetent.

Most Republicans are liars and thieves.

We need to turn out the majority of our elected officials as they are not representing us at all.

But hey!

That would be John Cornyn, whose state and Senate campaigns have been bankrolled by Bob Perry, the moneybags behind the Swift Boat smears.

If he wasn't busily competing for the Dumbest Current Senator award, he might be vaguely aware of the abject hypocrisy. Any Democrat who votes for anything that comes out of that POS's mouth deserves censure.
