Obama's numbers are rising in pre-convention state polling.
America and Iraq have agreed on a 2011 pullout.
Rob Andrews is leaving politics to join Goldman Sachs.
Tom Coburn is going to make spending and earmarks a key part of the Republican convention.
Republicans are trying to steal as much convention spotlight as they can.
Local news is running with the houses controversy.
