(1) Hitler and Dacus are both rightwing extremists.

(2) Who both hate gays.

So Dacus, in effect, is arguing that he's analogous to the gays Hitler rounded up and put into concentration camps.

Where's "Joe" the "Plumber" when you really need him?

Listen, you don't want my opinion on foreign policy. I know just enough about foreign policy to probably be dangerous.

The fact that the clergy (especially the protestant clergy) was among the chief constituencies of the Nazi Party. Hell, the Nazi government almost had to bring several mainline churches to court to prevent them from using the Nazi swastika in clergy precessions during mass. To even claim that the Christian Right stood up to Hitler at any time is a complete joke and bastardification of history.

Or we could dwell on the fact that the gays died in concentration camps because the fascist mind interpreted them as symbols of a new, effeminate manhood, a growing cosmopolitan intellectualism and a dangerous challenge to "traditional values".    

Sound familiar? There is very little difference in the political ideology of these christian dominionists and that of the Nazi Party.
