Voting problems in Floriduh

Written from precinct 629 in seffner Fl

Florida law provides that any registered voter with a change in address should be able to vote in their local precinct. All that is required is that the voter sign a document that they have changed their address, and then the clerk confirms that they are registered in Florida.

In tampa the clerks are supposed to call the County Elections OFfice to confirm the voter is registered in Florida. The problem is that none of the clerks can get through - so people are being forced to take provision ballots - which is outrageous.

Due to administrative incompetence people's rights are being violated.

I can't tell you how disgusting it is to witness.

Grrr. Well, that's what the Dems get for not pressing hard enough to get serious, meaningful federal elction laws enacted. The republican con men in Florida determined to not get out the vote have nothing to fear. It's scandalous.

so instead of jamming the phone lines of the GOTV operators, they are jamming the state office.
and we all know where the provisional ballots are located, the trash can.

that charlie crist is a good man, no he's a repug so that makes him suspect and this is just another example of the gop trying to steal a state by hook or crook.

you will notice all the problems happen in dem strongholds and there are only a few of them in the entire state, but they are heavily populated.

Money isn't the problem (0.00 / 0)

I'm sure that with the amount of money spent on new machines since 2000 it was possible to create the best election system in the world. But instead, it's the same ole crap again! Pundits had the right ideas on how to fix the system, but the jerks in power had other plans. This is a deliberate effort to not get out the vote.
