Eating Liberally Food For Thought
by Kerry Trueman

Some of my fellow Kossacks got their knickers in a twist the other day over the news that David Gregory's set to become the new host of NBC's Meet The Press. Why the outrage? You can live-chat with us here.

We'll be talking about Iraq and the economy.  My basic point is that, surge or no surge, the war in Iraq is a massive crime and should be treated as such.  Unless we hold those responsible accountable, these kinds of crimes will continue.

On Meet the Bloggers Discussing Energy

by: Matt Stoller

Fri Jul 25, 2008 at 12:34

I'm on Meet the Bloggers, a new web show.  This week's guest is Senator Harry Reid, and I'll be on the roundtable after the interview.  Cenk Uygur is hosting, and Kevin Grandia of Desmogblog and Nico Pitney of the Huffington Post will be joining.

Let me know how this goes.  Speaking of energy, I'd like to give a special shout-out to wanker Neil Abercrombie of Hawaii, who is in a liberal district and is using his base of support to... organize a bipartisan group of Republicans and Bush Dog Democrats to support more drilling.
