Best politics, too

Medicare-for-all is not only the best policy, it is the best politics.  It is easily understandable unlike something vague like the "public option."  It puts us in a position where the compromise is a public option rather than federal subsidies of insurance profits through a government purchase scheme.  

The idea that saving huge sums of money is "bad" because insurance jobs disappear ignores the reality that the money will only be freed up to create more productive jobs elsewhere.  We get to choose where those savings go.  Businesses have a smaller burden and are more competitive on the world market. Medicare-for-all is a win-win situation.
