House Bill: Exchange and Public Option (Potentially) Available to (Almost) All by 2015 (Mark Matson)
Assuming the right person is in the White House:

The House bill would expand access to the new health insurance exchange fairly rapidly. In year one, 2013, only individuals without employer provided insurance and the "smallest" employers (25 or fewer employees) would have access to the exchange. In year two, 2014, "smaller" employers (50 or fewer employees) could access the exchange. By year three, 2015, all "small" employers (100 or fewer employees) would gain access to the exchange, and the exchange Commissioner could permit larger employers (greater than 100 employees) to be eligible for the exchange.

that sounds great
from what I understand the commissioner would decide for 100+ in 2015, but the >25 in 2013, >50 in 2014, and >100 in 2015 will all be automatic, right?

doesn't this sound too big of a threat for big health if one of the exchange options is the public option?

Starting in 2013 is "great"?
Let me just take a moment to do the math, here... That would be four years from now, give or take, right? That's a relief. At least we don't have to hear this nonsense about "people are dying" anymore, because obviously that's not a priority.

Way to hold the Dems feet to the fire, there.

I am in earnest -- I will not equivocate -- I will not excuse -- I will not retreat a single inch -- AND I WILL BE HEARD.
